Design of a limited edition double vinyl compilation on Verdant Recordings.
The brief for this project involved using the ink on parchment abstract image by Ulf and Fleur as the basis of the sleeve, all text had to be in Century Gothic to tie in with previous releases.
I'm really pleased with how this one turned out, I like the way the abstract, amorphous imagery on the front wraps around to the back and cuts off with a straight line. This device is echoed in the labels, using different crops of the image to tie the whole visual aesthetic together.
The first 100 copies also included a signed and numbered original artwork by Ulf and Fleur, a lovely personal touch by the label.
